After Dinner Conversation is an independent nonprofit publisher. We believe in fostering meaningful discussions among friends, family, and students to enhance humanity through truth-seeking, reflection, and respectful debate. To achieve this, we publish philosophical and ethical short story fiction accompanied by discussion questions.

Red Sands is a Phoenix based award-winning casual creative writing critique group open to all genres.Event Summary
Join us for an in person discussion about two previously published short stories from After Dinner Conversation Magazine, (1) Community Of Peers and (2) Pandora's Dreams.Stories will be sent out 48hrs before the event, but will also be available just before the event for those who didn't pre-read.
At the Meetup, we will discuss the two stories, their associated discussion questions, and anything else that strikes our fancy.
****Additionally, because this is a partnership with Red Sands Writers Circle, the Editor/Final Story Selector for After Dinner Conversation will discuss the story selection process, the pros/cons of the stories from a selection standpoint, and the factors that went into saying "yes" to publishing these stories.

- Meet at West Building entrance. Because it is after hours, we will need to key you up. Having issues? Text/Call 602-492-5354.
- Parking: Free if you enter after 6pm. You'll get a parking ticket, but won't have to pay when you leave. If you enter before 6pm, parking $3. (Map Link)

Short Stories For Long Discussions...
Sign Up Here (Required to Attend)Get together online to discussion short story fiction from After Dinner Conversation Magazine. (We provide the stories, you provide the discussion)
- Discussion sessions will have an After Dinner Conversation facilitator
- Discussion sessions will be limited to 20 people per session
- Discussion sessions will be one hour long
- You will receive an After Dinner Conversation magazine with a primary and secondary short story for the discussion 7-10 days before the discussion session
- You will receive a Zoom link and meeting request a few days before the discussion session
- Signups close 7 days before each discussion session
